What I Do

I Teach.

First and foremost I am a teacher. I spent two years teaching math, science, and personal finance at a local high school. I then moved districts to teach math and science at a local middle school.

I Coach.

Coaching is a love of mine. Helping students grow in an area of interest while building relationships with them brings me joy.

I Blog.

Blogging is a relatively new love of mine. I’ve always been interested in personal finance and here is a chance to blend my interests in teaching, coaching, and personal finance.

My Story

I am a middle school math and science teacher that paid off $40,000 in student loan debt in 16 months. I use the combination of my experimental side of science with my love for mathematical number sense to create my unique take on personal finance.

My goal is to help teachers, as well as other middle of the road income earners, learn how to wisely manage their money, create a little additional income, pay off debts as fast as possible, and reach for FIRE, all while increasing their happiness.
